Final Acceptance Testing and Test Report
Position 1: Conformity and reporting of the commissioning of the plant to the Investor.
Position 2: Measurement of I-V-characteristics to determine the power of the solar generator on the basis of a representative control sample of 20 % of the installed PV power on selected strings or generator parts.
Position 3: Infrared camera images for testing of the installed modules to identify faulty modules (Hot Spots, defect contacts).
Position 4: Infrared camera images for testing of the electrical components as DC distribution, cables, connections, fuses and more.
Position 5: Verification of the monitoring system
Position 6: Assessment of the system performance
Position 7: Report with an overall assessment and a picture documentation of all deficiencies.
Schedule
The Final Acceptance Test Report will be provided within 2 weeks following to the field visit.
Note
The infrared pictures using a thermal imaging camera and the measurement of the I-V-curves need to be done during times with sufficient irradiation, meaning at irradiation levels above 700 W/m². Thus such measurements can only be done during periods of stable and “nice” weather. To be able to use such weather periods, the proprietor of the system should allow Fraunhofer ISE access to the installation on short term notice. Fraunhofer ISE needs to be given a technical documentation of the system in advance in order to prepare the onsite measurements and evaluation.
